Here is our 9 month old termite! One week ago Maya went to her 9 month doctor's visit and she weighed 20 lb 4.5 ounces and was 29 1/2 inches long! Maya has had a cold for a week. I will SO appreciate a "well Maya" once she gets over this cold. Poor baby is quite miserable, but she will start to feel better soon. Maya is getting ALL over the place...as you can see from these pictures! I hope our friends and relatives in Finland are ready to meet her (and chase after her!)!!
A funny thing happened today...Elvi-Mamma put Maya to sleep for a nap today on Aki's and my bed. Mamma was in the other room doing something when she heard a scratching noise. She freaked out thinking is was a rat (!?!?!..my mom is terrified of rats) and ran all over searching for this rat. Low and behold, when Mamma made it to the kitchen she looked into the living room and there was Maya playing with one of her toys, which made a scratchy noise! Maya has learned to lower herself feet first from our bed and walked out into the living room to play with her toy! (Thanks to her Oora-Mummo and Daddy!)
Tassa on meidan 9kk Maya-termiitti! Laakarin tarkastuksessa viime viikolla Maya oli 9220g ja 74cm pitka! Mayalla on nyt flunssa. Maya raukalla on aika huono olo mutta pian han paranee. Maya on niin kerkelias...toivottavasti ystavamme ja sukulaisemme ovat valmiita...MAYA ON TULOSSA!!
Tanaan Mamma laittoi Mayan nukkumaan meidan sankyyn ja ei pinnasankyyn. Mamma oli toisessa huoneessa ja kuuli jonkun rapina-aanen. Mamma saikahti etta rotta oli sisalla (!?!?!) ja juoksi ympari taloa. Ihan viimeisena han juoksi keittioon ja naki Mayan olohuoneessa leikkimassa lelun kanssaa ja sielta se aani tuli! Maya on oppinut laskemaan ittesi jalat etteenpain meidan sangysta ja kaveli olohuoneeseen leikkimaan lelujen kanssa!!!!! (Kiitosket Oora-Mummolle ja Iskalle opetuksesta!)
