We had Maya's 6th birthday party on Saturday. We had 9 kids here including Ada and my own. They danced and played Barbies and played hide and seek! My dear friend Teresa made the cake. She was the one who made Elias' monster truck cake, as well. She is so amazing! Vietettiin Mayan 6v synttareita lauantaina. Meilla oli 9 lasta kaymassa (lukuun kuuluu Ada ja meidan lapset) Tanssivat ja leikkivat Barbeilla! Mun hyva ystava Teresa teki Mayan kakun. Han myos teki Eliaksen auto kakun kevaalla.

Happy 4th of July! Hyvaa Itsennaisyyspaivaa!

Happy 4th of July! We ended up having a beautiful day! Overcast but pretty warm and NO RAIN!! That was the best part! We went to "downtown" Bethel and watched the parade. Elias was just so excited about the firetrucks and ambulances that he did not even notice that people were throwing candy from the trucks! Hyvaa AMerikan Itsennaisyyspaivaa! Meilla oli ihana paiva! Puolipilvista ja aika lammin ja parasta oli etta ei satanut vetta! Menimme "downtown" Betheliin kattoo Itsennaisyys paratia. Elias oli NIIn innostunut paloautoista ja ambulansista ettei han edes huomannut etta heittivat karkkia lapsille niista autoista!!

Aki, Maya, Ada, Elias and I went camping this weekend... The weather wasn't the best.. rainy and not that breezy (which left us with LOTS of mosquitos!) but thankfully it wasn't cold! The kids had a blast! Ada was a fishing champ! She got 5 fish. We kept 2 of them and ate them for dinner... they were delicious!

Mina, Aki, Ada, Maya ja Elias oltiin teltailemassa tana viikonloppuna... Oli vahan huono saa- sateista mutta onneksi ei ollut liian kylma. Itikoita oli ihan hirveesti... Lapsilla oli tosi hauskaa.! Ada oli kalamestari! sai 5 kalaa! 2 tuotiin kotiin ja niista saatiin maukaan illallisen tana iltana!
