Ice Skating! Luistelua!

We went ice skating on the pond in our backyard. FOr once it wasn't horribly windy and we could go outside without worrying about getting frostbite on our faces! The kids had a great time! Maya did super great- she was skating away! Elias was still getting used to the ice skates. The exciting thing that happened was that Rex played a little bit with Likka!! We welcome our newest furry member of our family, Likka! She is a 8 week old border collie we got from a breeder outside of Anchorage. We got her last Tuesday and so far things are going well. We got REx (who is now almost 8.5 years old.. GRUMPY old man!) when he was about 4 months old so we never went through this really little puppy stage... Wow do puppies this age need to chew! She slept in a crate next to Aki's and my bed for the first 3 nights and last night she slept in her crate downstairs in the kitchen. She whines a little in the early evening but then has been sleeping through the night fine, thankfully.! Tassa meidan uusi karvanen perheenjasen! Se on 8vk border collie.
