Ice is moving
These pictures were taken last thursday,when ice was still backed up in front of town. Ice starter moving out yesterday afternoon and water levels were at 7' and that is action stage and it is 1.5' below flood stage. so we did well in Bethel.Crooked creek ice jam did broke and water levels has come down some but still a high water there.

BREAK-UP ACTIVITIES
Just let every body know there is a major flooding up river from us in Crooked Creek village. 70% of village has been destroyed or swept away due to ice jam few miles below the village. every one can check Bethel search and rescue website http://bethelsar.org/Crooked_Creek_Flooding_Disaster.html Well, just check the pictures and keep those people in your mind. Hope the ice jam breaks soon, it`s been three days now and jam is still solid.
